Hope's Crisis

EPISODE ONE: Two Family?s hidden Pasts.
Standing up from her desk Leillia Celestial Starrsaburr sighed as she got up, ?It?s already 17:50?? she knew she was late, but then again she didn?t care.
?Celest?? Rae Lynn. Her oldest female friend, and cousins head popped into the door?s way. ?Lellia Celestial! What are you still doing in there? Aren?t you supposed to be back at the dorm, and getting ready for that interview??
?What does it matter?? Leillia?s voice was soft with a melody to it, as if it were a ballade or song. But it was only her deep accent. While her cousin was mainly human; for humans had scattered like weeds threw out the known galaxy. Leillia or as her Friends did call her, Celest was mainly of the Mellodii Species. An Amazon people, who?s females are supposed to be some of the finest warriors in the galaxy with the taste and thrust for blood. But Celest was a peace lover in the war torn galaxy, unlike her Military Hero mother and grand mother.
Rae Lynn sighed and shook her head as she walked into the class room, her uniform still on she looked at her cousin with pity. ?Celest I know with Jarred gone, you aren?t yourself.. and I know with the resent attacks on you life? you?re a bit on the edge-? Celest cut her off.
?A bit?! Raye! I am a wreck! And it?s not just because he?s gone? I haven?t heard from him in over a month, neither has his father?
?Maybe he just can?t report back.?
?You know Jarred could come to me, in my dreams. We?ve done that with each other since we were kids!?
?Celest please, you must calm down.? Her deep sapphire and topaz eyes looked threw Celest?s emeralds ?Jarred and you are close like that, I know. But you have to remember, where ever he is? he is busy. So you shouldn?t stress out so much.?
?I am not stressed good Coz. Now, I need to get to that interview right? Well then I should get back to the dorm. I?ll see you tonight.? She then breezed pass her cousin, something else on her mind.
?Leillia Celestial, you weren?t always like this? said Rae Lynn as she looked to the easel that her Younger cousin had been laboring over, in her haste to not speak of Jarred, she had left the canvas, on which she was painting. The comment was true, Celest once had no cares, she was short and sweet, kind and gentle with a love for peace and the hidden feelings for her closest and dearest childhood friend, Jarred Hunter Sopko.
Jarred is the only son of the current President of the Kenserky Federation, one of the two realms in the galaxy. He and Celest were friends since birth almost, since there parents were once lovers but always the best of friends.
Sighing as she made her way threw the halls of the Academy Celest went deep into thought as she made her way to the Kelliherran dorms. ?Jarred and I are close like that? like what? Why is it he swears to protect me? Does he really love me? Or is it just because his father loved my mother??
The real story of Celest and Jarred does not start here, Oh no. it starts 2 generations before them, with there Grandparents. Leatanna Starrsaburr and Hunter Sopko. At the age of 11 Hunter, who grew up until then on the streets of NarShaddaa and scraped by on his own, and liked it. He would con, trick, swindle, and steal to make it by, but he also became a pretty good fighter. He was rather strong for his age.
Leatanna was a kidnapped princess from the planet of Chadia, who has lost all memory of her past.
Hunter found her raised her as if she were his own and then, of course when he was about 19, fell in love with her. Leatanna was only 16 and was, like Hunter in love. But for reasons unknown now they did part, but stayed the closest of friends.
Leatanna, married of course, regained her title, now as a Queen. And She became a firebrand in the New Republic?s council until , she became it?s leader as Chief of State. She also started the greatest Special Operations Unite in the NR The Silver Squadron Elite or SSE as many called it. She became the mother of 8 children, but three did die at a young age, leaving Desdemona ?Demi? Murdock the eldest, and then 4 years after her birth, her quadruplet siblings, Ophelia ?Lily? Murdock, Thomas ? Thom? Murdock Calista ?Callie? Murdock and Jett Murdock.
While Hunter or ?Sop? went into the military, gaining rank by new rank as fast as they could give them, and became the youngest High Admiral in NR History. His Military mind was unsurpassed and his abilities to lead men, fly and shoot for a kill was unmatched at the time. He helped Leatanna even at the top of her New Republic career. The two were called ?The Royal Pair? he took care of the military and her the politics. Yet he also had his own family, a wife Fallon, an Elvin Jedi and then a son, James Andrew, who was 6 months younger then Leatanna?s daughter Demi. And a daughter Amelia.
With Lea? (as her friends called her) and Sop being as close as they were, and Lea? naming Sop as her eldest daughters hold ?father. Little Demi and James grew up almost side by side, and from that did become the closest of friends. The pair of young ones even had nicknames for each other, that in there minds were scared and only they could call each other by them, Demi became Demsi and James turned to Jams.
As time wore on, Demi and James were never apart for more then a few days, and when they Finally went to the Jedi Academy, (Which Lea? has helping to run for her one Jedi Master had received it from the Master before him) there was a shortage of rooms, so Tom Boy Demi was placed with James in a dorm, as well with a young prince names Tjaden, or TJ to his friends.
The Trio were always causing trouble threw out school, Demi was as wild as her parents. (Her father was once a Bounty Hunter and her mother, in her youth a Smuggler) and James, the image of his Father, all he wanted was to fly and fight, and Demi loved that idea.
As they wore into there Teen years, James had to fight the girls off with a stick but Demi, loud and wild couldn?t get one boy to notice her, none but James Sopko. Who was in Love with Demi, as there parents had been almost 30 years before. Throughout High school, the pair dated.
While during this time the great New Republic feel when Leatanna was taken from the throne. Hunter left with his wife, daughter and almost the entire Military of the New Republic to find a safer place for the good people, who were not corrupt by the powers that took the NR.
James stayed with Demi.
Years past and James and Demi were happy, even living together by there last year of school. But James, sadly had to go and find his family. He left the morning after Graduation and prom, not before Demi gave James the one thing she could never take back, Her virginity.
Demi and James had planed to be reunited within the time of 3 months, which thanks to his fathers map James was sure of. Unfortunately they would never marry as James had planned to do when he returned.
James came back to Demi a year and a half latter, now almost 20 Demi, being the Heir to 19 planets was forced into an engagement 4 months before James return, and to none other then Tjaden, who has become power mad and true Evil.
Though James? and Demi?s hearts were broken, they could do nothing, not even Leatanna could stop the marriage, and so Demi and James were torn apart.
Now do not feel bad for these lovers, who were now Forbidden, Demi hated Tjaden with a passion, and would never be the ?Proper wife? he though he deserved, so once drunk Tjaden would strike Demi, and soon the once proud woman was reduced to a Queen, unfortunately, she did not bruise easily so no one knew of her hidden pain.
She did give birth to a son, while James tended to his broken and shattered heart.
He also wound up meeting a woman, proud and strong and like his lost lover, belonging to the S.S.E. her father was the Co-founded of the S.S.E. Tech ?Tequila? Greene. Her name was Rachel.
James Married Rachel, who actually couldn?t stand Demi, the two women in fact did HATE each other, which in it?s own is ironic.
Tjaden, now hoping that with James married off he would stay away from Demi, but no such luck, he still came to visit with his Childhood friend. Becoming so over bearing with his Bride Tjaden made Demi swear she wouldn?t see James again. And again she gave birth, this time to twins. Craven Alenxander and Leillia Celestial.
The beating got worse and worse, and he even threatened to harm the small and innocent Leillia, Demi?s only joy. Her two boys were kept from her, and she only had her daughter as company, and she wept. Wept for her mother who had been slain prior a year before little Leillia was born, to the very hour and second in fact. It finally started that Tjaden became so angered with his wife that he did strike on Leillia, and had Demi held back, powerless and forced to look on.
No longer being able to stand this and in fear of her daughters life, while Tjaden was away, having and Affair that Demi knew full well of, she snatched her daughter and her boys. Taking the young Boys to her sister Callie?s home, Callie?s husband who was twice her age took the boys in, he had a pair of twins of his own and had always liked Demi?s spirit so without question he took the two boys into his home with his two other children, Rae Lynn and her older brother Andre`.
Demi, then knowing that her sons would be safe again stole away, now going to a place she hoped she would be taken in. To an Apartment, with 4 bedrooms and even a secret Armored room. An Apartment on NarShaddaa, where she had spent her childhood with James, as Had her mother and James? father. Without her key Demi snuck into the apartment, Via the fire escape.
Setting her 6 year old daughter, who was rather small for her age down to sleep in her old bed room she then went into the living room, to find the med kit that ?Uncle Sop? always kept there.
As said before, Demi did not bruise easily, yet tonight, on this thundering night she was black and blue, her amethyst toned blood covered her fine shimmer silks that she wore.
Latter that night, as she still tender to her wounds. James did return home, they had not seen each other for almost 8 years now. And to the new President?s shock, Demi for the first time in her life was terrified.
Sending a young boy, who Demi had never seen, into James? old room . Demi turned and wept in James? arms, no one but her daughter had ever seen the once proud Amazon cry, yet now she wept and sobbed all of her pain and fears onto James? shoulder as he held her in a loving embrace.
She told him the whole story, of what Tjaden had done to her, and that she had children but not of what Tjaden had done to her child. A cry was then heard from one of the bedrooms and moving with fluid speed Demi rushed to her daughters side and cradled the frail princess as if she may brake in her very arms. Celest kept once side of her face covered gently by her mother and soon James and the young boy stood in the doorway.
The boy was perhaps a year maybe 2 older then the young girl and walked over to her and with a bright smile he introduced himself as ?Jarred? and asked her name.
Tough only a foot from her Jarred could barely hear Celest?s voice, over the years she had become so timid and shy that her soft sweet song of a voice turned into a whisper as she spoke, for the first time to anyone not of her blood. ?Leillia?. Celestial? only being 8 or so Jarred simply referred to her as Celest or Lei, and in that innocent moment, when her wet emerald eyes met Jarred?s slate gray orbs, they were fast friends.
Demi and her daughter took refuge with James and Jarred. (Rachel was busy with something) until Tjaden had tracked them down. Finding his wife with none other then James had enraged him so that he struck young Celest so hard that she was thrown to the wall. Which only enraged young Jarred to no extent, and as his anger grew so did something else, a power about him. And as TJ went to find another blow to his daughter, Jarred?s anger did lash out, a light, like a cannon shot did come from his outreached hand, hitting Tjaden in the arm, and taking it from him. Demi called out an order to Jarred to get her daughter out of there, and obeying he took Celest from the room to see if she was all right.
All that is known from that night, is that Tjaden was never found, seen or heard of Again.
Demi left that night. And the children stayed friends and she returned many times, sometimes with her sons and daughter, sometimes just with her daughter. But only for 2 more years. Demi, her sisters and her brothers by blood along with there children, were taken from there homes, and Murdered.
Celest, and her two cousins Rae Lynn and Andre` were the only ones to live.
Rae Lynn and Andre` were away with there father during the siege and Celest, was however taken onto the ship ?Revenge? and did at the tender age of 8 bare witness to the murders of her dear Family, but not her brothers, everyone but her brothers. She somehow escaped, and was left on a planet she knew well, NarShaddaa, and escaping to the Sopko Apartment, they took her in, even Rachel welcomed Celest and raised her with there son.
